I worked in the Florida school system for about 27 years before retiring to open a private counseling practice here in Lakeland. I have worked with children from preschool age to the 9th grade. My teaching experience ranges from students in K-9th grade in regular classroom as well as Exceptional Student education. In addition to teaching, I was a Guidance Counselor for about 10 years out of the 27 total years. I also worked at Creative Counseling here in Lakeland with Dr. Rosemarie Lamm and Francis Martin for about 3 years counseling all age groups in the community. While working at Creative Counseling I worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples (marital and pre-marital). Another area of the practice is evaluating students or adults educationally and/or psychologically.
My interests are many and I enjoy giving back to the community. I enjoy reading and traveling when I can.
I enjoy all types of music.
There are some good shows on and some not so good shows on TV. Reading is a much better choice.
Books open up the world to all of us. There are many wonderful genres out there to keep us all enticed.
